House Teams
At Colham Manor we have four house teams inspired by local sporting stadiums, encompassing a range of sports that we celebrate and take part in as a nation.
Our Chosen houses are:
At Colham Manor, we support our children to Aspire, Achieve, Thrive by assigning them to a house team. The house point system has been embedded to encourage and celebrate excellent work, good behaviour, looking smart, helping someone, being kind or demonstrating our values. Our houses are also very important during a variety of events which take place through the year. Having a house system allows for healthy competition to be encouraged in a supportive and friendly environment.
The biggest highlight of the year comes during the Summer Term when we all enjoy taking part in Sports Day. Points are collected for each house throughout the sporting activities and the winning house is celebrated in a special assembly.
Pupils within each house work both independently and collectively to earn points for positive behaviour through our school values and following our Steps to Success.
As part of our school uniform policy, on PE days pupils wear a t-shirt that represents the colour of their house.
House points are collected from the whole school and celebrated in Achievement assemblies weekly.
