Our Approach

We deliver our RSE curriculum through the 'Discovery Education' digital scheme of work. It uses a spiral curriculum approach and gives pupils the ability to revisit topics and scaffold learning. Each topic contains age-appropriate content that increases in complexity and maturity through each year group, allowing pupils to build on their skills and understanding each year.

The curriculum content is split into the following topics: Healthy and Happy Friendships, Families and Committed Relationships, Caring and Responsibility, Similarities and Differences, Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds and Coping With Change.
